These are some of the websites that we go to when we're really supposed to be working. We listed them here because we thought that you would take interest in them also.
- http://www.ebay.com/ - eBay is the largest online auction community in the world. You can buy and sell items with others across the world without even paying for a passport.
- http://www.combell.com/ - COMBELL provided Izcool Entertainment with a free domain to use. We thank them for their hospitality for them allowing us to get one for free instead of paying for one.
- http://www.frihost.com/ - FriHost is the webhosting company that Izcool Entertainment resides on. We thank them for their hospitality for letting them host our website on their servers for free. :)
- http://www.sitepointforums.com/ - SitePoint's Forums is a gathering place for a lot of webmasters, programmers, and designers who talk about common problems with websites and talk about other related issues as well.
- http://www.imageshack.us/ - ImageShack is the alternative free image host that Mike uses when ImageHost does not work for him. It's very similar and you can barely tell a difference between them.
- http://www.wikipedia.org/ - Wikipedia is the free online encyclopedia that is run by the visitors, where you can add, change, or remove information on entries that you can look up.
- http://www.craigslist.org/ - Craigslist is an online classifieds site (like how a newspaper's classified section is like) where you can find good deals in your local area by selecting the major city closest to you on the front page of the site. Be warned that some people on this site are trying to scam you, but it can be a helpful tool if you know what you're doing.
- http://www.google.com/ - Google is one of the largest search engines on the internet and is my personal favorite.
- http://www.imagehost.org/ - ImageHost is one of the free image hosts that Mike uses on a regular basis to host digital camera photos, screenshots, etc. to show to other people online. It is currently not taking any new members to make uploads, but current members (like Mike) can still use it.
- http://www.virtualpetlist.com/ - Virtual Pet List is the only virtual pet links site you will need. They have many directories including : virtual pets, role playing games, and gaming software. Their gaming coverage includes dead virtual pet sites, RPGs, software links, virtual pet tools, and more !
- http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ - SETI@Home is a project in Berkeley University in California where people use thier computers to process data reported from outer space in Search of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (hence the acronym).
- http://www.urbandictionary.com/ - Urban Dictionary is an online dictionary that is controlled by the visitors and had definitions of words in common up-to-date talk and even includes words that some dictionaries deny even exist.
- http://uptimes.hostingwired.com/ - The Uptimes Project is a project that you can use to monitor your computer's uptime. It periodically sends the time to The Uptime Project's server that keeps adding up on how long your computer's been on. Izcool Entertainment is hooked up with the Uptimes Project to monitor the uptime of their computers.
